Kuwait Implemented new Telephone numbering system--- Landlines phones & Mobilephone lines become 8 digits now--- The new system will entail the addition of 2 before landline numbers--- 6 before Wataniya lines (Numbers that begin with 5, 6, 70, & 77)--- 9 before Zain lines (Numbers that begin with 9, 4, 702, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 78 & 79--- Operator services number which currently begin with 8 will have a 1 before them (Now becomes 7 digits)--- Those consisting of 3 digits such as 101 & 112 will remain unchanged.
